现在让我们来看看google的经济学。

首先，让我用东方人的角度去看，看一下下。我的妈呀，那家伙是个怪物，它正在改变这个社会和时代。是的，它是一个和传统经济无关的东西，如果你了解历史，因而，的确，它属于年青人。它如此激进，以至于不屑与同yahoo, lycos去实施妥协的半吊子盈利模式，以至成功。

现在先让我们看看英文维基是这么说的

Google is a search engine owned by Google Inc. whose mission statement is to "organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful." The largest search engine on the web, Google receives over 200 million queries each day through its various services.

In addition to its tool for searching webpages, Google also provides services for searching images, Usenet newsgroups, news websites, videos, searching by locality, maps, and items for sale online. As of February 2005, Google has indexed 8.05 billion webpages, more than one billion images, and 845 million Usenet messages — in total, over 9.5 billion items. Google is not a conventional company. We do not intend to become one. Throughout Google's evolution as a privately held company, we have managed Google differently. We have also emphasized an atmosphere of creativity and challenge, which has helped us provide unbiased, accurate and free access to information for those who rely on us around the world.

我很高兴看到有人，敢如此坦率地向华尔街挑明自己反传统的立场，他们也有这个资本。但更有趣的是序言后的第一段。

SERVING END USERS

Sergey and I founded Google because we believed we could provide a great service to the world--instantly delivering relevant information on any topic. Serving our end users is at the heart of what we do and remains our number one priority.

Our goal is to develop services that improve the lives of as many people as possible--to do things that matter. We make our services as widely available as we can by supporting over 97 languages and by providing most services for free. Advertising is our principal source of revenue, and the ads we provide are relevant and useful rather than intrusive and annoying. We strive to provide users with great commercial information.

We are proud of the products we have built, and we hope that those we create in the future will have an even greater positive impact on the world.

很少有公司，可以如此坦率地把为客户的服务放到首要的位置上，并且不脸红地说出来，因为这样，就是这样。Google的性格是一般人无法理喻的。一般网站一般想着如何为客户服务，一边把切实地挣钱放到真实的第一位，因而有扰人的广告条，他们告诉你那是个交易，他们的表情就像个不那么高明的小商人，一个传统的商人。Google更像两个天赋的具有理想主义气质的大学生，他们嗅到了互联网的精髓味道，并切实地实行了，如此而已，他们又是聪明人，知道如何一步步地去实现大业，不急着上市，临上市的时候羽翼以丰，并适时地推出那份信。

这就是新世纪的朝阳么? 我们将拥有什么样的经济和什么样的文化。Google的例子在于，它让我们看到不同的东西，并难以界定，越是聪明的东西，越是大众无法界定，而只可享用的，同时这又成就了一种更高级的控制。因而便有了强大的anti-google.

它给我的教训是，就努力勇敢地去做心中的那件事情，如果你决定去做的话，如果你周围有个非常强大的传统的墙壁的话，你不要去理睬，听信你心中那声音吧，具有真正开放和听取之心，听取他人心里的需要，众心之心。或着的是你，不是传统，传统不会学东西，你会学。
